The Nonconformist

Stargirl is not a follower. In fact, she's an example of a nonconformist, someone who doesn't follow the same rules or customs as most people. In Stargirl's case, she doesn't follow the "rules" and customs of the popular kids at school. This has made most of the students turn against her. Stargirl does not have many friends.
